Best known for the iconic Causeway Link yellow “Smiley” buses, we carry over 60,000 passengers daily on cross-border, intercity, and local routes. Our services are further strengthened by a growing fleet of electric vehicles (EVs) and continuous smart mobility innovations.
Through our Singapore-based subsidiary, Hi Ride we provide school transport, corporate shuttles, and ad-hoc charters, extending our commitment to safe, reliable, and future-ready mobility beyond Malaysia.
The story of Handal Indah began with the vision of our founder, Lim Han Weng, who in 2002 recognised an urgent need:

What started with a small fleet on a single cross-border route has since grown into one of Malaysia’s most trusted transport operators. Mr. Lim’s commitment to reliable service and passenger care laid the foundation for our reputation as a leading mobility provider.
Today, our operations span multiple states and extend into Singapore, supported by a fleet of 716 buses, including electric vehicles. As we continue to expand, we remain steadfast in our dedication to building a sustainable, low-carbon future.
