Melaka, 10 February, 2026: Handal Indah has opened a BAS.MY Melaka registration booth at Jualan Rahmah Madani in Taman Pandan Mawar, Melaka. Operating from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, the booth provides the local community with easy access to register for the Kad Konsesi and Kad 30 Hari for BAS.MY Melaka services.
As the network operator of BAS.MY Melaka, Handal Indah aims to bring affordable, reliable, and efficient public transportation closer to residents. The booth enables community members to conveniently sign up for travel cards that offer meaningful savings and improved mobility.
BAS.MY Melaka booth target four key beneficiary groups eligible for Kad konsesi:
- Senior Citizens (aged 60 years and above)
- Persons with Disabilities (OKU)
- School Students (aged 7–17)
- University Students
For Malaysian citizens aged 18–59 who are not eligible for Kad Konsesi, the Kad 30 Hari offers unlimited travel for 30 days at RM30, delivering up to 80% savings, especially for frequent commuters.
Through this initiative, Handal Indah supports the Ministry of Transport’s mission to cultivate a stronger public transport culture in Malaysia, reflecting the company’s commitment to making public transportation a convenient, affordable, and sustainable choice for everyday commuting.
Jualan Rahmah Madani is an ongoing sales programme organized nationwide by Malaysia’s Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living (KPDN) under the Payung Rahmah initiative and is carried out in partnership with various parties. With prices set 10% to 30% lower than typical market rates, the initiative supports local economic activity while easing the cost-of-living burden for Malaysians.
