JOHOR BARU: Bus service provider Causeway Link has launched Johor’s first premium express bus service, offering passengers a luxurious and efficient travel experience.

The premium fleet, operated by Handal Indah Sdn Bhd, features spacious reclining seats, onboard Wi-Fi, and personalised service, catering to commuters and long-distance travellers.

The service, which is set for operations this April, connects Johor Baru to Kuala Lumpur’s Berjaya Times Square, NU Sentral, Bukit Bintang, and 1 Utama Shopping Mall.

HI Mobility Bhd chief marketing officer Lim Chern Fang said the company plans to expand into Singapore by late 2025.

HI Mobility Bhd is the parent company of Handal Indah Sdn Bhd, which operates the Causeway Link and other bus services.

Launched at the KSL City Mall, here today, Lim said it marked a significant milestone for the region’s transportation industry.

Also present were their partners from ZERO, Julie’s Biscuits, YUTONG, and KSL Management.

The premium express bus service makes Causeway Link the first Johor-based public transport provider to cater to both daily commuters and long-distance travellers.

To celebrate the launch, passengers can enjoy a “Buy 1, get 50 per cent off” promotion until March 31.
